Stimulus influences are motives that happen due to behavior. Marketing needs to show common personal, social, situational, and psychological behavior to be able to really connect and convince the consumer.
AIDA
There are theories on how to collect the attention of the consumer and convince them to buy the product; AIDA is one of them.
Attention- Getting the consumers attention. for example, the commercials on T.V. are louder then the actual program to get your attention.
Interest- Receiving the interest of the consumer by making the product seem beneficial to physiological, safety, social, esteem , and self-actualization needs.
Desire- When the consumer has interest and recognizes that the product is beneficial the consumer will want to buy the product.
Action- After the consumer is interested and has a desire to gain the product the consumer will take action and go to the store and purchase.
